Translating Malaysia’s Vision into Action
I am excited to share my latest research published in the Journal of Advanced Research in Technology and Innovation Management (JARTIM) where we tackled a challenge that matters to Malaysia’s aerospace future.
In today’s competitive aerospace landscape, traditional project planning often struggles with uncertainty, risk and dynamic timelines. In this paper, we proposed an integrated framework using three powerful tools:
- PERT (Program Evaluation and Review Technique)
- PDM (Precedence Diagram Method)
- S-Curve Analysis
It is a practical model that enhances project resilience by improving task dependencies, risk visibility and adaptive planning. Applying this to low-emission/hybrid aircraft development demonstrates how Malaysia can better navigate complexity and align with both national decarbonization goals and the Malaysia Aerospace Industry Blueprint 2030.
Why it matters to engineers, project managers & tech leaders
- Helps manage uncertainty early in the innovation lifecycle
- Improves timeline predictions and risk foresight
- Encourages dynamic, milestone-focused execution
- Supports national aerospace competitiveness
